Gameplay Programmer | B.S. Computer Science | MEAE Engineering Track Expected 2028
Hi there! I’m a Computer Science graduate from the University of Utah. I will be continuing at the University of Utah in the Master of Entertainment Arts and Engineering (MEAE) program on the Engineering Track.
I’m originally from Japan and now based in the United States. Growing up between cultures has shaped how I think about games: not only as technical systems, but also as experiences that can connect people, ideas, and communities across different backgrounds.
My main interests are gameplay programming, **systems design, and technical implementation in Unreal Engine. I enjoy building interactive systems that connect design goals with reliable, maintainable code.
I’m proficient in C++ and C#, and I have developed several projects through coursework, game jams, and independent development. I am also involved with VR and spatial computing research through the SPACE Lab, where I work on Unreal Engine-based cross-platform experiment tools.
I enjoy collaborating with others, learning new technologies, and turning abstract design or research ideas into working interactive systems. Feel free to browse my portfolio and reach out if you’d like to connect!
